Great picture! It looks like some bizarre insect ballet!
Great picture is right! Amazing! Can you grow it in the ground or just in a basket or pot?
Wow! You take the best pictures! So clear and sharp! That's a beauty of a subject. Thanks for posting it.
darlenecom - I'm keeping it in a basket....it's gonna get transplanted into a bigger basket this weekend. Since it is a "trailer" I don't think it would do well in the ground and I know it wouldn't like our winter gale force winds.
roshana - you have mail!
I just bought a 'lipstick plant' from a Lowe's in my area... and it was half dead... but since I bought it... it is doing better... mine is a 'Exotic Angel' plant! I bought it for only: .75 cents... But that was because it was dying!
Zone 6a Grow well after frost outside, AM sun to part shadePM.Hanging basket.Winters in GH.
Well..... my 'Lipstick' plant died.... I think it just got TOO cold for the poor little plant. :-( Will it come back from the roots? Because I really love this kind of plant! Any advice to try to get it to come back?
This plant will not survive outside in the midwest winters, but can be grown as a houseplant with humidity and bright light.
I don't live in the midwest though! And it was in the middle of sprig when it died.
