Yes it does flower in summer a bit, but not profusely, provided it gets some water. It flowers profusely after the rains, by October. Mine is about 4 feet tall with a spread of about 3 feet. And my soil where it is growing is not very fertile, but in full sun. It is doing well that way. The profusion is best explained this way: ladies use it to adorn behind their heads after making them into a bunch and string them together - a tradition here. And it looks georgeous, esp. this variety! Hope this info helps.

The flowers are not fragrant. They are just attractive! Jasmine, when adorned that way has a pleasant fragrance around.

This bi color Philippine Violet is very rare i have offend seen single colored one .
Can you tell me how /where ,can i get the seeds from believe me you have a great collections of flowering plants.

It does not produce viable seeds. It is grown from cuttings.
