This beauty will be open for show this evening and my nose will be near it before dinner. It's become my favourite and the plants I gave my neighbourhood friend too are doing so well that they are his favourite too!
Yellow 3-ple datura
Ay que linda! (How pretty!) Some nice people from Dave's Garden are sending me some datura seeds so I hope to experience daturas in my garden next year. I only wish that I could smell your flower tonight also. :-)

I would have to say that a datura bloom is my fav....for NOW anyway, since I've never experienced a brug bloom in person...YET!!! Your bloom is very pretty. I'm looking forward to having the double/triple yellow dats next year! Enjoy...

u're welcome Dinu. anyway the triple yellow datura's latin name is Datura metel cv. golden queen. other sites call it Datura metel 'Aurea', commonly known as Hindu Datura.

yes u will both fall in love with this datura... more so, if u get to sniff the scents in the air at night or early in the morning.
Scooterbug...I totally understand about the obsession! I've loved dats for a very long time and just get so excited each time I have new blooms! The feeling never goes away...LOL!!! And seed trading, oh my...I just love it but I am far behind! Ack!
Bambi...Hun, you're on the downhill slide!!!! You can never have enough obsessions!!! Just wait until you have dats blooming next to your brugs (my dream come true)!
