I've received some great advice from Brugie on overwintering but have a few more questions.
I just brought 5 brugs in for the winter, one of them huge, in my opinion (over 7 feet tall) - definitely looks huge in the lving room.
It has probably 25+ blooms ready within the next few weeks
We put in a huge pot and I gave it a good watering - I'd like to get it through this flush of blooms if possible.
I thought I recalled a thread on here with a bunch of photos on pruning, but for the life of me, I cannot find it.
Just brought them in for the winter
It's a Monika thread... I'll see if I can find it. BRB

And this one. http://davesgarden.com/t/213501/
That's a mighty big Y you have there :) Which one is that?
I think Monika says 4 nodes above the y.... if I remember right.
Nope... I was wrong. It says at least 6 nodes.

The Y is HUGE. Probably almost half the size of the tree. Is this a good or bad thing? *more brug newbiness oozing out again*
Not sure which one it is - I got my tags all mixed up - this was one of the ones from tiG, lovely peach color.
6 nodes above the Y. Ok, gotta go check.

I'm spending all next weekend rearranging my furniture in the living room and both bedrooms so my potted brugs can have all the good spots next to the windows, I'm determined to get a bunch of blooms next summer so I can stop being so jealous of all of your giant plants!!! I have about 8 seedlings in the ground, they haven't Y'd yet (but they grew a lot bigger and faster than the ones I put into pots) and I've decided to see how well they do over the winter outside, we rarely get really cold here, it may get down below freezing for a few days, but the ground never freezes. mostly we just get rain rain rain all winter.
Sounds like us, but we get snow, snow, snow all winter!
I have a guestione about bugs-ive been squirting them withwater all summer-should i do anything else b4 i bring them inside with the other house plants?
Help-I only have like 35 to bring in-lucky that Teig moved out-now i have another GROWING room!!! ;) i do miss my baby though!
