Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Not sure if a had a snail baby boom in my garden... or if these are a new species that I've imported in. That's the tip of my finger he's on. They're teenie weenie... but they do BIG damage.

Yuck. They'll be millions for next Spring.

I dunno? This is the only type snail I've had in my garden... do they look like Momma & baby? I never had snails until a couple of years ago. Now I have them everywhere.

poppysue, you have good eyes even to find that first one. And the second one has a neat shell. Great pictures.

Sue, it is cute, but I sure am glad that I don't have any at all. They have never been a problem where I live and I am so thankful.

The big ones are easy to see... the lil ones are hard to see. Their shells are soft so I squish them or give them a chop with my clippers. It's been a baaaad slug and snail year. I've used a lot of the bait stuff but it hasn't seemed to slow them down much.

I love the snails but not the damage they do. Have you tried beer in a shallow container?? I guess they get drunk and fall in LOLOL!!!!!!!
