Brugmansia primer

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

I think it was calalilly, but I cant remember just now, that put up a primer on the basics of brugmansias. I thought I had copied that down somewhere but I can't find it anywhere.
Does anyone know about this primer and if so could you either bring it up on the site or email me the information.
Thanks so much

http://mysite.freeserve.com/Brugmansia101/ Here's Cala's page

Both, ABADS http://www.americanbrugmansia-daturasociety.org/abadssitemap.htm

And BGI http://www.brugmansias.org/siteindex.html are also very good

You should be able to find anything you need to know :)

And you do too, Thanks. All the cuttings I have received are doing great. The cuttings from Mrlinsltby have rooted and I'm getting ready to plant those and the others that were already rooted are still going strong. I just can't wait to see what I've got. Thank you everyone for your generosity and kindness. With luck they will survive the winter and bring me joy next season.

Thank you for these links, said the newst Brug newbie/lover! Lots of great information. I spent hours on several sites taking notes.

I have one question remaining, if anyone might know the answer. On cuttings started in water, the general instructions state to pop it into soil, small container, soak, move it to dappled light and don't feed it. Within two weeks you should see top growth, where as you feed it lightly and move it to a stronger light.

Ok, this is two questions. Is the "don't feed" statement mean water as well? Secondly, if we are talkin about winter, which requires much less water, BUT this is a sprouting, growing cutting, active cutting about two weeks old just potted yesterday, do I water inbetween spring (active) and winter (dormant) watering levels? The principal of less water is better than too much water might not apply to the baby cuttings? Not sure here and I do NOT want to kill off these precious cuttings. I have the babies inside on the cold tile foor away from a window but in a somewhat sunny room. I also have NO idea what kind of brug I have except that one totally unknown, one is a Double White and another is an Isabella, both cut from above the Y.
