Sick goat question....AGAIN

(Zone 5a)

Not as bad as last time thank goodness. My Saanen doe 'Ma', the same one that was sick before now has some type of skin problem it almost seems like an allergic reaction to something but I just don't know. It started on her stomach kind of like a rash but she would dig at it with her hind foot and has it all scabby and raw, I used some Prednisone powder on the place for a few days and it was drying it up quick when she would leave it alone, seems to itch her awful, hubby is out of town and I can't throw her to put the powder on. Now she has a place starting on her rear that she can reach with her teeth and is getting raw. Doesn't seem to have hair loss except of course where she has completely rubbed it off and there's a scab, haven't seen it on any of the other goats either. BTW where she had her drains for the infection still breaks open and drains occasionally so I know there's still some infection in there but she's fat and sassy, acts more like one of the kids jumping around and bawling and playing head butt with the kids, she's the oldest doe I have. I'm glad to see her acting this well after all she's been through.
