Sorry Margie, seems I overlooked your questions! My plants actually only have the normal three standards - at least as far as I've noticed. It's a sporadic bloomer and only a so-so increaser in my garden - with the usual caveat that my iris are veryverycrowded :)

I just love it, it's so unusual. I keep a record of pictures of cultivars I want to buy and sort them by color. But the beards on this one are so spectacular it doesn't belong in any category I have.

This one is in Sutton's 2004 year catalog. So puttytat - this is what I do. Hunt down cultivars for folks. Hopefully it will be in the 2005 catalog too.
