Amaryllis Belladonna seeds

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I let my amaryllis stalks stay on this summer and they dried and I have these weird fleshy seeds from them. Are these the seeds and do I just plant them?
Thanks

Thanks Cristina. Great info though woe is me, " Flowering in the following season will be reduced considerably if seeds are allowed to set."

I see large clumps of them growing unattended all over coastal CA, with most of them being left to set seed and die back. They leaves are left to decompose around the plant and the flower stalk grows up through the decaying leaf litter. They seem to produce flowers every year. I have never gathered seed, since they seem to set offsets so well. Moving them is more likely to reduce flower production.

Are they all the pink ones George? I would love to get a red one. I bought a white one last year but can't remember where I planted it and haven't seen it yet.

That looks like them. Gorgeous group, definitely no flowering problem there. Maybe the white one became part of the varmint control, gopher ate it and died?
