At least I think so.
If anyone knows different, please tell me.

Another beauty, though.

Its a Multihybrid with pretty flowers. B. aurea has trumpet shaped flowers.

Thanks Monika.
AG is what I got it as. But I thought something wrong.
I'm getting better at doubting. lol

So now how do I change this post to reflect that?
There should be way.

You can't change the post title unless you e-mail Terry or Dave to do it. It's a pretty bloom.

How about this one? The plant is huge, the leaves large & slightly fuzzy & the flowers are small (about 8 inches long) & almost waxy looking. They last almost a week. The plant does NOT like cool evenings. We've just hauled it into the new greenhouse & had to dig a hole right in the middle to set the pot down into because the plant is so huge. This is the first time it's bloomed since I got it 2 1/2 years ago from a lady in LA (the state, not the city).
Alice, I have in my records that I sent you a cutting last year. Our flowers don't look alike so if that one came from me I obviously got the containers mixed up after I trimmed off the leaves. If Monika thinks this might be AG I would be happy to replace the one I screwed up on. Linda

Very pretty Sewcrazy! I can carry 2 pods into the house from 2 tress, one in each hand, and by the time I get in I have no idea which is which! So do not feel bad!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Ooooh I love that one. What is it?

Auburn, WA(Zone 8b)

Oh! I guess I didn't say what it was. It also is supposed to be Aurea Gold. I love it, too - whatever it is! The shine in the photo is not water. The blooms are shiney/waxy inside.

(Kell, you should get a chuckle out of this. My "Old Glory" (received as cutting last summer) bloomed for the first time last night. It looks exactly like Frosty. :( Old Glory is yellow. I'm going to be doing a lot of composting this year. I have far too many Frosties. My yard is pink. I think we have two corners of the country covered!)

sewcrazy, it looks like an aurea. The leaves must be toothed, pubescent with a glossy surface.

Auburn, WA(Zone 8b)

Thanks, Monika. I'm pleased you think it is an aurea. All the other brugs I got winter of 2001 from the same lady in Louisiana have been what they were supposed to be. This one just took forever to get big enough to bloom. Yes, the leaves are toothed and the new leaves are glossy. Hadn't noticed that before.
