I was wondering how your brugs. over wintered . I thought I remembered you were using some portable greenhouses this last winter. I am wondering if I should invest in a couple until my regular greenhouse get's built at the new house.
For Kell
They did great! A little wet in the hoophouse but they really work. A hoophouse is fast, cheap and easy to build. The one thing too make sure you do is leave several feet of plastic on the ground so you can lay big soil bags all the way around the hoophouse so when the wind gets really bad the hoophouse will not get airborne! Aso used metal clamps on top for the plastic ones fly off in a storm.

did you find your new house Patricia?
Thanks for the information Kelly. Yes we found a house in Livermore. I was hoping to find something out of the Frost area, but this is a lovely home and I am happy with it. It has a large backyard with plenty of room to grow my brugs and put in my greenhouse.
Good for you Patricia! And you can hang out at Alden Lane Nursery.
Now that is a dangerous thought. I can do alot of damage at Alden lane.
