help with snail vine look-alike-id

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Hey folks, posted this on the id forum with no hits yet, so thought I would perhaps put it here to see if anyone can help me.

anyway, it is similar to vigna caracalla but these leaves are slightly different and the bloom is about dime sized. Any help here is appreciated.
Thanks much

Here's another link.... http://2bnthewild.com/plants/H416.htm

Moonlighting: That 1st link you sent above sure looks like it to me, but the second link, the leaves and flowers are different, so I think it may be the Pink Fuzzybean (strophostyles umbellata) from 1st link, however, I am going to look further on that page and see if there is one that matches the color of mine a little more and will let you know.
Thanks

Laurrie, I posted this because Windy ID'd mine....so I have to give him all the credit..(Ü)..yours looks exactly like mine except the color - the second link I posted is the same flower but if you read the "fine print" it say's that the flower comes in pink and also white...so I figured yours had to be the white variety...lol...Laurrie - what do you think the chances are of having two "mystery vines" of the same variety going at the same time by two different people....!

moonlighting. that is too cool!! looked at the links again and you are correct, Windy is a smart cookie!!!!

Also noticed mine is blooming more and something weird here, 1st bloom was that whitish creamy looking one, now the bloom on there is so pretty pink!!! weird huh?

Are your blooms just under dime sized? Mine are, so delicate and pretty, nothing spectacular unless you really get close enough to check the bloom out, but I will grow it again, I like it.

So I have to ask, where did you get your seeds from, perhaps we both traded and got our from same person. Larry in SC is where mine came from!!! Let me know. LOL

I can't quite remember what mine looked like when it first bloomed....I don't think I really paid attention because I knew what the mother plant looked like. I got my seeds from my SIL - actually "lifted" them one day when I visited and she wasn't home - she had this vine growing on her carport and after looking at it closely the little flower was very lovely and it had all these ripe pods all over...and...and...and I just couldn't help myself! - I knew she wouldn't mind....lol....I called her later and she had no idea what it was called - it was there when she bought her house. Yes, mine "dime sized" and pink with a little purple "tongue".....you realize I already mailed your packet?....LOL....this is just to funny!

moonlighting: LOL too funny, here is a photo I just took of mine looking "pink" instead of white as the first flower that bloomed was!!! Same plant too!!!

Thanks, you guys! I had this growing(courtesy of a bird dropping, I guess), and was really glad to find the right ID. Mine seemed to go from pink, to purple, and faded to a pale orange. They were pretty, but wish they were bigger...

yep seedpicker, thats is one like ours...lol...

I have mine posted under seed trading (free mystery vine seeds for SASE) with pictures too.

I really liked that they were multicolored, depending upon their age. It made a nice display, even thought they were small. Mine put out a lot of seed, for just one lonely birdie gift! lol...
The birds have really done me quite a few favors! lol...
I noticed recently they brought me a beautyberry, (which I had been wanting!), and a very unusual passiflora, which I have YET to identify!
They certainly are my "feathered FRIENDS"! Gifts from God!
