She looks very good for the storm you all went through. Mine has buds and I can't wait for the blooms. This has been a slow growing brug for me.

Love the striped buds. Mine still doesn't have any.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Mine is still alive, but not doing much. Definitely no buds!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Mine is still alive too . . but I think barely.

I supposedly purchased a Snowbank on Ebay a few weeks ago, but the leaves on it don't seem to have as much white as yours, and they are not serrated as some of yours seem to be. Did I, perhaps, purchase something other than Snowbank, or since it is only about 10" tall, has it not developed its full potential yet.

Mini: Did it have the patented label "Terra Nova"? This sign should be in every pot of Snowbank.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Yes, it did have the sign and the Seller seemed very honest, so maybe it will just take time to look like the picture.

It sure is pretty. I wonder why some people have no problem and others like me it just won't grow. I have lost 2 of them.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

My Snowbank looks quite like yours minus buds. It is about 30" tall and has not y'd yet. i did move it into the greenhouse the other day when we were having very cold nights. Now it has warmed up again was 80 degrees today. The gH door is open as well as the vent to keep from getting too hot inside. Donna

That is beautiful Kristi. The buds are fantastic looking. Mine is doing great though small. It is putting out new leaves and seems happy. I can't wait for it to look like yours. I will keep it in the house this winter.

Northridge, CA(Zone 10a)

This is for minigranni: you definitely received a 'Snowbank' from me.

As this is my first year growing them, I don't have experience seeing them to maturity, but brugs do change with weather and other conditions, including the color of the flower as well. Several weeks ago I cut back my 'Charles Grimaldi's' and repotted them. They are all leafed out and will be in bud soon. Previously the leaves showed SOME subtle serration, but now the the new leaves are VERY serrated, and if Ididn't know any better I would say they were Dr. Seuss (similar, but not the same). Go figure.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

My Ch. Grimaldi I have had for years, now has serrated leaves? Figures!

Kristi: Be sure and remember we want to see it when it blooms!

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

How many of these Snowbank are ones that I sent to others on this forum? Mine has a bud. Only one, but hopefully it will finish the job and show me its flower.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

My little sweetie is about to get put in a pot for the winter,I am hoping next year it will shine!I love her!
Thx Anna!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

My Snowbank is one from you, Anna.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Mine is from you. Looking good, slow grower, no buds but I love it and it is one of the ones that will come inside for the winter.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Anna, I got mine as a gift from Tracey last fall. She ordered them through Abutilon. Even as old as it is, I'm finding it to be much slower growing than Maya. It does have a bunch of buds about 4 inches long right now though. Can't wait to see it bloom.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks Mainfrog for letting me know. It looks so much like my little Peaches and Cream that I wasn't sure.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

It sure grows slow, just like my Peaches & Cream!
