Saw this one in Chicago..very beautiful but smaller sized flowers.
Unamed Hibiscus
Yes, it is very pretty. Do you have your hibiscus in for the winter? I still have Sun Showers outside. Just couldn't get to it. May be too late, but it is only now getting ready to bloom so I'm not sure I'll even bother with it.
Shirley, everything of mine is still outside...will start bringing inside soon.
Put it in shade for about a week then put back in a sunny spot near a window.....prune only if you want to.Let the flowers open first.Go easy on the water after transplanting..too wet means too dead!!LOL
Thank you so much, Kyle. You're the tropical expert!
((hugs))
Wow Eclipse, that Chicago hibiscus is fabulous and probably the most tropical looking I've seen--& in Chicago, no less.
Sunrize ,they have a nice collection of Hibiscus in the conservatory in Chicago.
Tropical hibiscus are my . . . . passion!
Eclipse, that is a beautiful hibiscus. Wish I could get one to bloom with such huge blooms. I am down to one pot now. Has 2 plants in it a cream colored double and a deep pinkish one. It is still out in my shade house. Weather is lovely fall weather. 80 degrees daytime, mid 40s and warmer at night. NO RAIN !!!!! Donna
