looking for a'' potato casserole'' recipe

Does anyone have a potato casserole recipe similar to this? My Granny used to cream potatoes, and then add diced onions and maybe whole raw eggs and s&p and bake it in a casserole dish. It was wonderful but I can't remember all the ingredients. HELP!!!!
