Pet Care Recipes

I was initially going to call this Pet Recipes but thought I might get my virtual ear chewed off for that *G*

OK straight to the point, who here makes their own care recipes for their pets? I've got my hot little hands on some melt and pour glycerine based soap and want to find something to make Bo's personal smell less lively. Being an entire male (yes I know, best to neuter but at 11 years old it's a bit late for that now), swimming in the river and living near the Forest with all the lovely smells to roll in his smell is almost a physical presence! I think he's trying to always be with us in stinky spirit.

I came upon a tea tree and peppermint soap recipe that looked interesting and also one that included lavender to help calm nervy dogs, what else is there? Yes, I know, soaps aren't always great for animal skin but most should be alright if not washed too often. I'm wondering if there is any recipe I could make that would also do for cats too (as tea tree is toxic to felines).

So does anyone make their own pet spray, soap, shampoo, dog/cat biscuits/treats, toys etc?
