My first Brug! How's she lookin'? I had to bring her inside cuz these ITTY BITTY white bug-dots were on the underside of some leaves. I spent a few days squooshing the sneaky ones and she's bug-dot free. Had an overzealous helper when I transplanted her, I bout fainted when the dirt hit the bottom leaves too hard and bent a couple - heavy sigh - but I think she'll survive!! :)
My Baby!
Lookin' good. Might I suggest you remove the bottom couple leaves, to make it grow taller and clean plant up a wee bit, as those leaves probably will yellow and drop anyway.
Do you know what this baby will grow up to be? Does it have a name?
Good luck on growing.
Tam, I believe you probably had white flies. They ARE sneaky. I haven't noticed that they do much harm to the plants, but they are troublesome when they get into the house. I would find a good spot for her and leave her there. Plants kind of like to stay in the same amount of light once they are used to it. Turn her around every few days to keep her straight and you will have a great looking plant by spring. If you can put a fan on her, it will make her stronger too. Especially a month before it is time to put her outside.
Tam, you have been given some good advise and I am looking forward to see you post a picture next spring when this blooms. Good luck to you.
