pink flame ginger

Why do they call this one "pink flame" when it is not pink?

hi lisa..thats funny...I think it is the same reason they describe Elizbeth as "raspberry color" in books and it is blush pink...*grin*

it is pretty though! The central part looks like a flame if you scrounch your eyes even it it looks more coral in color.

It is also scented, although I think the white ginger has much more aroma. I have my white ginger planted around my pond. The scent of ginger is very strong. Heavenly.
