1st setback on my lil farm

I found out this morning that all of my 6 week old chickens are dead. Something came in the middle of the night and ate all 5 of them. All I have left is feathers and wee foot. We had just put them in their new pen a couple of days ago. It's really weird because we have a tall block fence. We think it's probably coyotes.

We'll get more as soon as I get some barb-wire for the fence (only half-joking). But I am going to make it more difficult for the little &(^*(! Maybe I should rethink DH's position on the dogs? Give me a couple of months and I will be back up and running.
