If anyone is interested, I have two good sized Aloe Vera plants to find homes for. By good sized I mean the largest leaves are maybe 10 - 12 inches long, a couple inches wide at the base. The one already dug and shipped weighed almost 3 lbs. Postage would be in the $6 - 7 range ...
Alternatively, I have some Aloe Vera babies that also need good homes. I can put two or three of these in a box (depending on size) and keep it under 1 lb. Postage would be around $3.85.

I'm enjoying the plant you sent me (I was the guinea pig for shipping purposes) I still love it and if you have any left over, and no one else is responding. Let me know. exactly how do you use paypal??
Annabellegabby, you use pay pal to send money on-line, like to make ebay purchases and such. Go to paypal.com and create an account. It walks you through it. You associate a credit card with the account to send money, or a checking account to send and receive. If you aren't a business, there are no fees.
A lot of people use it because it's so easy. Not everyone does, tho.

Ahhhh I see, I dont know if the Hubby will do that or not. It's kinda chancy wouldnt you say? I mean I wouldnt think it would be with you but if you dont know someone I mean.
It's all pretty safe, but if you are concerned about online security in general, it might not be for you. You basically write an online check, so the person receiving it can't alter the amount.
It's all on secure servers and I have never had a problem. But like everything online, it could get hacked tomorrow ... best not to think about things like that.

Julieanne - I do have an extra medium sized one to find a home for. In fact, I have two left. If you want one, let me know. Zuluqueen got the biggest one (over 5 lbs!). The ones that are left are a little smaller than 'Willy'.
Also, I still have plenty of babies, as I've yet to dig out the grandmother plant. *sigh* I'm thinking of using them for packing material ... LOL.

Yes, above zone 9, they would need to be. Lots of people keep them indoors even here, so they are close at hand for medicinal use.

I had one that I kept, and a few years ago went through and threw out or gave away all of my houseplants.
I repotted my moms for her this summer, and took a bunch of the babies to pot up here, and by the time I got home, I forgot about them, needless to say, they were cooked.
I still don't know if I want anymore houseplants. They seem to attract the cats and dogs and I end up with more mess than I have time to deal with!
