how do you make this cactus bloom?

Needs to get cool in the winter months.

Needs LOTS of bright summen light/sun. (This was moved out of the greenhouse in June and slowly acclimated to full sun)

Needs food, I use diluted fish emulsion.

And then its a real case of luck too. :-)

There are several blooms that I am watching carefully....should be a go in a couple of days.

I'm fairly new to DG also and I know what you mean about losing your way. :-)

One way to check back on threads of interest to you is to go to the top of the page and click on Watch This Thread. That way when a new response is posted it will appear on your personal DG Home Page when you log onto Dave's Garden. You can set up your "Preferences" and "Member Page" by clicking on the links toward the top of the righthand sidebar on each page of DG.
