Suddenly all these were ripe and ready to be picked!
All Golden Lady pods. I need to lease a few acres ASAP!
I lied, the last 2 are Rosamond X L'Amour.

POD TIME!!!
Nice harvest Kell!
I thought they were jalapenos!! LOL great crop.
Way to go Kell, you sure know how to pollinate now!
Great pods!
Looks like you are serving dinner. lol
Best luck for gorgeous new brugs (o:
I found drying them on plates is best to keep them from getting moldy.
Fabulous Kell. Hope you get some great new plants
Great! Well looks like you are going to be busy!
Congratulations on your bountiful harvest kell. I hope wonderful surprises await you. :-)
Kell, I hope you grow something beautiful and fabulous (sp)from these seeds.
Looks like someone will be busy with new seedlings next year. Hope there are a few beauties in those pods just waiting to get out.
I wonder if they would be any good stuffed with cheese, battered and deep fried? Little side of Ranch dressing...GASP!!! Nice haul there Kell!!!
Good going Kell, if you need any help growing them let me know.
Way to go Kell!!!! Hope you have some hidden beauty's in there.
Kell,
What a great harvest. Give us the crosses...Golden Lady X what.
Good looking pods, Kell!
Glory, I can guess her crosses............pink, pink and more PINK!!!
L'Amour and Rosamond. And one I put a white ribbon on that I was sure would remind me what it was, and I have no clue. LOL. Maybe RK!
Way to go, Kell. Looks like you have really done well.
good crop, lmk if you need help growing them out.
Okay, Kell, those look very healthy and yes, you could have fooled me that they were jalapenos!
How long did they take to mature before you felt confident in removing them from your brugs? I think I have one or two possible buds that germinated, but I don't know for sure yet.
What a crop, Kell! Maybe the next double pink is in one of those pods!
Don't we all wish! Hooray for first one to get that double pink.
What a haul Kell!!!
If your growing them out in your car you'd better get a bigger one!LOL
Kell , how did you know these were ripe? Were they squishy?
I have learned you need to check your pods daily ! One day they look fine and the next they are ripe and gone! I think the chipmonks are stealing them.
They start to turn a yellowish color. Some split very early in the yellowing process Sue. The peduncle turns yellow and as it is the umbilical cord it must cut off the nutrients and the pod begins to die and starts to decay to allow the seeds to get out. It will get real squishy if you do not pick it.

Thx, Kell! I thought I had read that they take about four months to ripen? I don't know if it was you that may have mentioned that? But, now I know what to look for when/if they do ripen so thanks for the info ☺
