Hi,
I am very new to this site but wanted to post a note to say thank you to all of you who have made me feel very welcome. I moved in to my husband's house last November when we married. His idea of landscaping/gardening was to plant two lilac bushes beside the front porch and line iris up along the front of the house. We did take a Master Gardener class last spring so he has a new interest in planting things.
I have been busy tilling up new flower beds around the yard and adding raised bed gardens for the veggies. I think I have now planted enough squash and okra to feed the entire neighborhood plus plenty to put away along with other standard stuff.
I don't have many plants yet to trade but I have started looking at the ones I have bought with propagation in mind. Hopefully, I'll have some soon and can start trading.

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. I already love it here except for the fact that I am spending so much more time on the computer now and less outside!! I have told my mom and sisters about the site and I know my mom has already joined and I'm sure my sisters will too. We all love to play in the dirt! Susan
