my first brug bud. i was so surprised to see it and when i did i had to do a little happy brug dance. :) i found it on september 11th and my first frost date is october 15th, so i don't have a lot of hopes for a bloom this year, but i have hopes for next year. :)

I hope it gets to bloom before you get a frost. Keep the blankets handy to cover it just in case!
What a beautiful bud. I started some cuttings inside in November, 2002 and planted them outside this year. They are growing nicely but no buds yet. Good luck debi.

I think you will have plenty of time to see it bloom. If it doesn't frost before your average date, you have over a month and that is usually plenty of time. Hope it is a beauty for you.

i'm going on vacation for a week starting saturday. oh my i hope it doesn't frost while i'm gone. have to talk to my neighbor about it.

Get a disposable camera for your vacation pictures or for your neighbor to photograph the buds. This is an event that you don't want to miss. :-)
i'm home and the bud is now yellow/gold on the outside. i also have some other new bulbs too!!!!
