hibiscus el capitolio variegata

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

This is one of my favorite plants. And the cuttings root quite easily. I dont do anything to it, except trim it every now and then. Very low maintenance.

I have had to trim it so many times this summer. Will offer up cuttings next year for sure.

Eclispe, Is yours Country Music? I have one and they look similar. I was so surprised when the skirt came out. Nice picture that really shows off all the best features.

rylaff, I believe el capitolio is even prettier. I'll be looking for the offering of cuttings in the spring, for sure. Perhaps I can come up with some to tempt you with.

Catlady, this one was labeled as El Capitolio sport. It has a few branches that bloom single red too..go figure! :-)

That sounds very pretty Eclispe, esp. if they were blooming at the same time. Looks like there's another one for my list. I like plants that do strange things. :)
