Plant Pink Favorite. Not only has it bloomed all summer but the flowers are huge.

Great pictures Barb. I'm planting mine in a pot next year so it can go in the shade during the afternoons. It suffered a lot this summer. Thank you for the start of this pretty pink brug.

Your Pink Favorite is a beauty!

LOL...Oh my Bward....I just want flowers. LOL I've never actually seen an actual brug bloom in person, or experienced that delightful scent. I've obsessed over these blooms for more than a year now. Your pic is beautiful. Hopefully one day I will be as lucky....I would just like it to be 'me & the bloom', for a very long peaceful time!

This is a beautiful flower. Mine is blooming right now also and I agree with Shirley it does tend to suffer a little in the heat.
Brinda are you currently growing any brugs or are you new to this forum?

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Poppysue, I saw you post concerning the marbling. I have not noticed it on mine but haven't looked for it.

Belinda, in the fall generous grower on Dave's will have some cuttings to share. That is how I got really started collecting brugs.

Cats....I am new to DG, new to this forum (about 3 weeks ago) and new to Brugs. I've been a member of PlantsDatabase for about 6 months or so, and just decided to give DG a try. I'm certainly happy that I did.

Right now I have a few cuttings. So you can certainly understand why I'm drooling over all these pictures. I won't see blooms til next year! But that is fine....I am certainly enjoying DG and ALL the information that I'm soaking up. Everyone here is so very nice and helpful. And talented too....I can't believe some of these pictures! They certainly look professional.

just wait a few more weeks and you'll most likely end up having more cuttings than you could possibly know what to do with. I could probably help you out with some myself including pink favorite. Just drop me an email and i'll let you know what I have now .

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

great bloom! I like them big and bold!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Having more that I knew what to do with!!! Wow...that sounds like a very nice comforting dream. LOL I'm just picturing it now! Things are looking up in Oklahoma!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Barbara, it is lovely. Do those big blooms also have a big fragrance?

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

Bward, your brug is a beauty!!! I've just seen my first brug bloom, an Equador Pink from Logees (my first brug plant) & I know this brug addiction is only beginning. The more time I spend looking at everyone's photos, the more inspired I get!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Slight fragrance. Makes good pollen.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

That is really pretty. The color is so soft! Somehow I don't have that one???

Badseed, would love a nice start of your lion's ears. Would you be interested in trading for Pink Beauty cuttings?

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

I don't know who hybridized pink favorite but they created a monster when they did.
The picture at the opening of this thread has started a frenzy. You would not believe how many requests for cuttings of this plant that I have gotten just today alone.
Somewhere around 8-10 at least but don't worry everyone who emailed me today about it will get it. Sorry to say though due to the overwhelming number of requests for it after taking these cuttings i'll have nothing left to cut on. {:(

Pink Favorite was hybridized by Herrenhauser Garten, Hannover,Germany.

Barbara, I am sending you an E! :)

Where are ther seeds on the brugs at? I gree my first one this year and it's beautiful but don't know where to get the seeds from. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Teresa1288,you need two different varieties in order to get seed.Very few brugs are self fertil. If you have two blooming
you can pollinate by hand or wait for a moth or bee to do it for you. There are good directions for pollinating here

be forwarned,it quickly becomes an obsession.
