Anyone with knowledge of the "Peace Lilly"??

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Any information would be helpful. I have a bloom on my plant. The leaves are huge, green and healthy. I got this beautiful plant from my maw maw's funeral. I would like to keep it and propagate from it, is there some way to do this to make others from it???? Help???

hi Annabellegabby

From http://www.houseplants-flowers-online-caretips.com/peacelily.html

For best growth and flowering, divide the peace lily and repot in early spring every year.

My sister has grown them successfully, but I tend to kill house plants.
Good luck!

Divide in spring it is!!!! Thanks Sundry...this plant is very special to me because it came from a very dear Christian woman that passed aways funeral last year. I can't let anything happen to it. nothing but nurturing that plant :-) Thanks again

A dear friend of mine brought me one all the way from Nigeria via Frankfort way back in 1976. I faithfully fed and loved it and it only bloomed once in its long life for me and that was the day my husband died July 1 1985. I have many since but tyhat once was always special as yopurs is. Good luck Shirley

Awwwwwwww marclay, what a blessing. I know how you must feel, I have to nurture this and take care of it. It's special to me. I've only gotten one bloom on it at a time but its pretty healthy.

Thanks for the Hyperlink Sundry, Youre so helpful, I had no idea you could do that. But this spring I will. :-)

God Bless
