Colchicum graecum

Here's a Colchicum which makes a nice change from the wine glass shaped species like C autumnale.

This is Colchicum graecum from Greece.

these have been in flower for 9 days now due to them having many flowers from one bulb.

Very nice, mark. I have seen them in catalogs and wondered if they performed as stated. Now I know they do! Thanks.

I'll try and remember to count the flowers when I get home

one bulb has only four flower but the other two both have 7.
