Amen! There's nothing better than watching the rain fall and seeing the plants and earth thirstily drink it up!

Amen!

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Happy for you, Kyle, but we could pass our rain to somebody else right now! We got about 11 inches over Labor Day weekend, and another 3 or 4 today, with some more maybe coming through tonight. I love a good rain, but could we spread it out a little bit more?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

You can sure send it this way. Even though we are happy to get this rain, it won't be enough to get us out of the drought we are in. I'm so happy that I won't have to water the flower beds tomorrow.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Ok, you can stay in bed until noon then. Hope you have a good soaking rain. We've certainly had enough for everyone, like Ronna here.

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

im not sure why but it seems that plants respond to rain much better then the hose,--------hope it rains all night for you.

I'll pass on the rain too. It rained everyday for 3 months. Finally getting dry days.

Silent Night, Holy Night to you too, Ludger.

I sure wish there were some way to even out our rain and droughth areas. Here in NE WA it is the dryest year since they began keep fairly accurate records, more than 100 years. here at my place have only received about 1/10 " of rain since first of June and that was a couple of days ago. I have been irrigating constantly since middle of March, and sure does take a lot of time to try to keep 2 1/2 acres wet enough for plants to grow. I have very little water consume lawn. Donna

Donna, I sure hope you get a good rain soon. I don't know yet what our total rainfall was, but it had to be several inches. Our farmland needed moisture to go into winter with. Now farmers can relax a little, but we still need a lot more moisture to get back to normal.
