Some of my lily plants have tons of little bulbs on the old stalk. How should I plant them - or should I let them drop on their own?
Lily bulbs
You can probably do either. They usually take root as soon as they hit the ground, though some will just expand on the surface and you'll find them in spring. I've had them expand overwinter on the surface here in zone 5. They are also nice to trade. :) It will take about two years to get a bloom off them, but worth the wait.
