Something happened last saturday on our property.
It's about our dog Lab, Teddy. He is over 1 years old. I was outside with Teddy, my other 4 dogs and went feeding my chickens.
Somehow Teddy ran so quickly to the front yard and caught a animal. When I saw, I thought it was just a rabbit due brown coat. I decided to walk to check and saw Teddy dropped that down. I went and checked close and not want to touch, it might bite. OMG!!! It was a DOG! He was tried to kill. Cause He was grabbed and shook it so hard like it was big stuffed animals that dogs like to shake it hard. I told Teddy NO! He sat down! I wanted to check on DOG if its alive or dead. IT looked like dead somehow he started breathe and woke up and saw me and he started get up and ran! Teddy got up and ran again and grabbed that DOG and tried to tore that up! I tried to make him stop and kept saying NO No and I yelled My Dh and he came out and tried to make Teddy stop! They went under trailer and he still shake that DOG so hard and finally Teddy stopped! I told Dh what happened. I said that DOG must be dead already under the trailer. He said need to find that dog. We searched around and couldn't find. In few mintues later, that dog ran like crazy to get away from under trailer. Teddy saw and he ran and got lost! He couldnt find the scent where that dog went. I mean that dog ran fastest.
I feel so bad cause that dog was torn up real bad and bleeding all over. I said need to find that dog and have it treated. We searched around and neighbors.. we couldnt find that dog. We know that dog was on our property when Teddy saw that dog. That DOG doesn't have collar or tag.
I mean, WHY my Teddy tried to kill a dog!!! Maybe he doesn't like any other stray dogs to be on our property or tried to protection? We have 4 little dogs, chickens, cat.. He didn't chase them off. Strange? He have been chasing after rabbits, any critters that come on our property but why this DOG? Teddy is very friendly, loveable and love children. I hope he will not do that again!
I can't BELIEVE! Why my dog done that!
