Good guy or bad?

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

It sorta looks like a horn worm type, 'cept he has no horn... and he's much smaller. He's sleeping on a heliopsis bloom.

No idea on that one Sue.
Maybe somebody else knows it. In addition you also can send the pic to the "whatsthiscaterpillar" website for ID.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

what would be the url for that site?

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

That's sure a pretty little caterpillar. I love the markings.
I found this website for cat IDs but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Maybe it will help. http://www.whatsthiscaterpillar.co.uk/america/index.htm

Oh yeah, forgot the Link. Ooops sorry for that and thanks Floridian for correcting my neglect :).
The North american section on this site still needs alot of pictures so I encourage everybody to submit their cat pics, especially the missing ones.

That one looks like a good guy to me! I really have no idea though, waiting for the experts to tell us.

Poppysue, did you submit your picture to the "whatsthiscatterpillar" website?
Checked today and I didn't see your pic in the Album.

Orlando, FL(Zone 9b)

I can't find this one. It sure does look a lot like a hornworm minus the horn!
