Keeper?

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

This seedling has been my favorite.... and it's white!! I guess what impresses me the most about it is the shape of the plant. It has the perfect alley tree shape. The flowers are lasting a long time in my cool weather too. It seems like they get a little brown damage from wind and heat but the flowers don't hang on the plant while they turn brown and yucky... they still look pretty good when they drop off. It's practicly a self cleaning brug ;) Not sure how it would do in hot weather but for me this has definately been a keeper.

It has a wonderful fragrance. It's one of the more frangrant brugs blooming. I was iffy about it when the first couple flowers opened but it's definitely growing on me.

What do you fertilize yours with Sue? Your brugs are so green and happy looking.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Wondering the same on fertilizing? Mine never get that big and that many flowers on them. Do yu think it is the good start at the begining? The light?
