Look at this tiny thing! I was opening my plastic bags of cuttings I did last month and this tiny piece must have broken off the main cutting and lay on the top of the soil. It formed roots just by being in the bag. It is so very tiny.
And FYI, I finally lost 5 out of 24 cuttings in the plastic bag method of rooting. 4 of them were all the same kind. I noticed they were very wet so I assume I left the plastic bag way too wet when I closed it up tight.
The tiniest bruglette alive!
Thank you for this info. My first attempts were disaster, too wet, they rotted. My last one I am trying, I used peat/perlite and it is still alive after a week! Wish me luck, once I get the hang of it........
My DH beheaded a 2 inch seedling yesterday, i'm hoping it will resprout, lol. i never had any luck with the bag method, always left too wet. i don't think our humidity is less than 80% here but twice a year anyway.
That is really neat Kell!
