Did you notice it smells good?

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Beautiful, Kell! What's that flower in the background?

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Kell, once again, I have to say you sure know how to take great pictures. Very pretty.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Another beautiful shot!!!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Gorgeous Kell. You sure have been having some beautiful blooms on this one. Excellent picture!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I spent awhile trying to get a pic without the vine in the shot. Kept trying to hold it back out of the way and then I thought...... DUH!!! Leave it in!

It is a Podranea ricasoliana Poppysue.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Love your photos! Another beauty you have there Kell!!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

The vine is beautiful too. I might have to find one of those!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

This is the one I had seeds on last year Cala and you passed on them! If it pods again, want the seeds? I can try to start you a cutting.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I said NO to a vine that beautiful??? Geez, I must have been having a blonde moment!

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

I would love to see your garden Kell!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Believe me it is not so great and now it is a mess. I need weeks to get it back in shape. I was gone for too much this summer and my DH has it in his contract that he only has to water, no other maintenance! LOL

It is small and over crowded and suddenly I have black grower pots all over! There is a reason I like to take night photos! LOL

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Beautiful flowers, great photo. Thanks Kell

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Just saw this in the newsletter - I don't usually come to this forum because I'm too chicken to grow brugs (overwintering!). I had to stop by and tell you what a beautiful photo that is. Glad you left the vine in there!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hey GW, WELCOME! I am so glad to see you here. We won't bite. LOL. Well, maybe just a nibble or 2!

Why are you chicken? I will send you a couple nice ones in the spring if you want to just try it! They are such fun.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Well, truth is, I am terrible about keeping my potted plants regularly watered, and I thought brugs were kind of persnickity that way. Plus, I don't know where I'd keep them in the winter now that our basement has been renovated into a MIL suite and my MIL sure doesn't have room by her two windows. They must really be something, as excited as y'all get about them!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

They don't need a lot of light to overwinter and you can even just start some small cuttings and throw the big plant away next year. The cuttings will get just as big the next year. You really should try one just to see if you can do it. Up for a challenge? Keeps us young and sassy.

Mableton, GA(Zone 7b)

Can you hear that sucking sound gw? That's us pulling you into the brug zone...lol :)

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Yep, I hear it too! LOL. We're coming to git ya GW!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

RUN! Just as fast as you can!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh {thump, thump, thump}

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Hi GW. You will find that there are lots of enablers here!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Kell, what an absolutely beautiful picture. Your Brug is so pretty and it looks so nice with the vine too. Thanks for sharing!

GW.....I think it's too late to run. I'll tell you a little secret. For the past 2 years I have been looking at brugs and lurking in the forums for brugs and have been way too scared to try them. My thoughts were, the more beautiful the flower, the more difficult it must be to grow. Well, right now I don't have any blooms, but I do have cuttings that some very generous people have sent me. And I know that the thrill of watching these grow and then bloom is going to be so much fun and rewarding. Wish me luck...and by the way, you best get out of this forum if you don't want to be a BRUGMANIAC!!!! LOL Get one & have some fun with it. What do you have to lose???? Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Brinda :)

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Kell I missed this. What a great picture and a nice home coming. GW I can't believe we got you in here. We been trying to give you brugs forever. I think your getting weaker. lol

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

"Youuuu Arrrrr Gettingggg Sleeeepieee"
Now ,when I snap my soil encrusted fingers you will wake up and yearn for a Brug about your abode.
* SNAP *

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Gee, Howie, I had the strangest dream....
Hey, have you ever thought about us growing brugs?

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

GW, watch out! I told myself I'd never get brug crazy, but I fell under da spell!! there's no turning back once you are hooked.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Oh you Guys and Gals are such a riot. Love this thread.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I think you are out numbered here GW! Hopefully we will have our double pink by spring, so that should get you hooked for good! LOL
