First thing I heard this morning was rain. Real rain. Not the pitter patter kind. Real rain. It's been a while since I heard that.
Second thing I heard was the squawking and honking of my geese. When I go outside they are delighting in their first puddle for months.
After the rain slowed down some, I stood out in it with my coffee cup in hand.
It's amazing the difference rain makes vs. piped water on the garden. The tomatoes that I have watered for months were already much happier.
Hope the rain is in time for some grass to grow.
