Here is mine from a couple of years ago. I don't even have this one anymore. They look pretty similar to me.
Hope everything will be okay down there. Thanks for letting some of the rain come up this way. LOL. We sure needed it, but I'm afraid we won't get enough. At least it is cool and I don't have to water today.
Yep, if it will come down slowly over a few days!! See, I want it my way and not Mother Nature's way.
It's coming heavy right now,and it seems the system is moving out.I hope.it is the wind that is killing me,I could not get to the Castor pods,so they are whipping around like pendulums.
Root, I'm sure enjoying our rain here in Missouri! Things are looking better for us!
Looks like it is pushing east,I was going to meet with XVTracy today,I hope she can wait till tomorrow.
If you look here XV,my phone is out.Email me.
Boy is she going to get some cuttings,LOL!At least some good will come out of this.
Gosh Root was that rain or a hurricane??? Are we ever greatful? LOL Can you tie them to that black post to the left? If they aren't broken, maybe they will be alright when the sun comes back. My 15 foot tall ravenna grass has parted from the rain and is sprawling all over.
I'm sure I will be fine, just have to do some staking.
I gotta see this 15ft. grass, may need to try some of that!
Dang gusts are hitting 28mph,S they are coming your way.
Sorry Root. Hope it perks back up for you. That sure was a beautiful Castor Bean Plant.
Root, so sorry to hear that the rain and wind messed up your plants. I do hope you can stake/tie most of it back up.
Root: Thanks, for sending us some of that rain. It has been coming down gently all morning. Although, we don't need 9 inches like you. Between you tying up the castors and the sun will help them straighten them back up. I'm about ready to pack it up for this growing season. It has been horrible fighting the drought.
Thnks Gals,I will make the best of it,Deb I'll try to send you some more growing season.;0)
Beautiful flower, love the color and frilly skirt. Seems Mother Nature messes us up everytime we have things ready to sit back and enjoy the blooms! We have had 29 MPH winds, pots(25-30 blooms) went over couple times. Can't win!
Finally the rain has come to a slow trickle....the bridge down at the end of the road was about to be flooded.
We asked for rain we got RAIN and Rain and even more rain... Now if we could just get a little sunshine for a day or so things will really be looking great. Maybe tomorrow the roads will be safer... for anyone that didnt know, we had part of our kansas turnpike wash away and take a few cars with it... Hurricane? I am starting to wonder.
For the past 3 days it has rained and i have this humming bird that no matter how bad the rain poured this little guy would not stop guarding his feeder. Now that is one strong willed little bird!
Tracy
