I love this site. I've been coming now for about a month, and was sent here by a poster at Telemarktips.com, a backcountry skiing (my other love) forum. She was oh so right that I'd love it here.
Since I've been here, I have learned how to save seeds, kill bugs organically and know the names of all those plants I've seen and admired in other yards. The problem is, I have to work. I wish I had all day to spend here. I'm glad you're all out there. Thanks for all your help and advice.

Hi all. I got here from a skiing forum I visit!
Waving from south West KY,where the skiing that is done here ,gets done on water instead of snow.
Glad you've decided to join us!
Wow, what a segue: skiing to gardening! If you ever give up skiing, those skiis would make fine tomato stakes. ;)
Welcome from some Ohio gardeners.

Welcome, Lee! (I agree with gardenwife... that's QUITE a segue!)
Hi Leisurlee, Sounds like you have jumped right on board here in the garden. There are so many great people here. Continue to enjoy, and, welcome! Mari
sending welcome wishes your way
A warm welcome, leisurlee, from South Louisiana. Not a lot of snow here, but we do water ski. =) It's great to have you here in the garden.

Hi Gardenwife, I laughed when I read your post. Most of the stakes in my garden are either broken skis, ski poles or old slalom gates we collect in the spring when the mountains are still snow-covered, but closed! I love the way my two passions remind me of each other all year.
It's been great being here. I love it!
Warm welcome from California, Leisurlee!
You are really fortunate to have found this site. We all are. It is a terrific place were you quickly form friendships with wonderful people. Not to mention the wealth of information that can be absorbed.
Enjoy!
Welcome!! So...you like winter sports?
Sledder, some people call me one dimensional. But I laugh and tell them 2 dimensional because of my summertime garden fetish!
Nice to meet you.
Lee
A big welcome from me to you......
