Why does my post always say Edit?

Alright, the secret is out, I know absolutely nothing about computers except how to turn it on, get to DG and enjoy myself.
Why does my post always say Edit? What do I do to delete it - or am I really on probation because you all know that I know nothing about computers?
GardenWife I've printed your journal on how to set up a hyperlink and maybe some day I will feel brave enough to try. Your instructions are excellent - it's just me.
