WOW!!!! Will my pencil plant get that big? About how old is that one?
Itīs something around 10 years old, I believe. And your plant will most likely become like that... unfortunately, because when it reaches that size, it starts to break down the branches (they are too fragile), and as the toxic white sap is exposed, you have to be careful.
What's wrong with the white sap?
Itīs extremely toxic. This plant is claimed to be one of the most poisonous Euphorbias. The contact with skin can cause even 2nd grade burns on sensitive people.
Ohhh.... I touched it before... and it didn't do nothing to me!
Can it be harmful to animals? Like cats or dogs?
It did nothing to me either, but I know some people who got burned bad by it.
It can most likely harm pets.
Like if they chew on it or something?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Yes, the sap is extremely dangerous
Thanks for the info.! I will have to do something with it then! Because I have outside cats. THey go in and out as they please.
