Yes, it's a very unusual viola, and it bloomed quite profusely. Best of all, I could grow it from seed. I'm going to collect seed this fall and see if it comes back true from seed.

I've found several of the little violas come back pretty much true from seed, if they don't pollinate with another, different viola. I've found that to definitely be true of 'Penny Orchid Frost' and somewhat true of 'Blue Bronze'.

I just purchased a few flats of these beauties. Any advantage of these to say your typical Low/HD Pansy??

When you say 'advantage', are you referring to seed collecting, their growing habit, or something else? Also, what is an Low/HD pansy? Boy, I sound pretty clueless, don't I! LOL!
