Meet a new potential introduction.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

This is a sibling of "Pristine" and "Inca Moon"...I will call it "Luna" (X-230) for now.It has a sweet almost citrus scent..holds well in the heat, seldom wilts even in 100F heat.Only drawback so far is the yellow on the outside of the corolla. It dosen't turn pure like it's sisters. So what do you all think?I'll try to post some pics of different angles.

One more pic....

I think Pristine might have wilted in today's heat. It was brutal. This one must be a bit stronger. I don't think the yellow ribbing is all that visible from a little distance.

The third pic was taken just as the flower opened up.So it does fade some.A very pale yellow star in the center of the flower too.

I like it. Pristine and Inca Moon are 2 beautiful brugs. Actually the Inca series all are.

Shirley I hope it revives itself back up. Did you take cuttings?

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Sounds like Luna is a very fitting name!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Quite a beauty.

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

Looks like you've done it again, Kyle. All your brugs are so special...this one included. Edited to say:
Nothing potential about it!

I like it!I need to get some that will take this HEAT!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Deb, what I meant was that if Pristine had been in bloom, I think the blooms would have wilted during the heat of the day.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I love the skirt on this one!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Kyle are you saying you are going to name and introduce this one even though it is not solid white and has the yellow on the outside. Are you naming it and waiting to see if it gets pure white or are you going to use it to hybridize with? The fragrance and the heat tolerance are such positives traits in a brug. I actually like some with the yellow or green lines particularly on the pink ones even though it is probably consided a flaw.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Its very pretty. Another keeper for you!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

It's very pretty Kyle. We need the heat resistant one. Thanks for working on them.

Kyle,
It has great form! Looks like a keeper for sure with all its other qualities like heat tolerance.

Brug Nanny...you notice I said tenatively named "Luna" that can change down the road..its also numbered as a hybrid in my collection. It doesn't have to be pure white..but it carries many traits worth breeding with..and in that case we need a name on it.Has already been crossed with a good pink that has heat tolerance...Look out all you desert dwellers..new heatproof brugs are comming!! LOL

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Well, I'm not a desert dweller, but here in the gulf south, we definitely need some heat tolerant ones. I don't have a single brug that doesn't wilt in the hot afternoon sun here.
