Brugnanny,
Just wanted to post a pic of the Dr. D that you sent me a few months back. Do you remember how small this was? About 6 weeks ago maybe not that long this plant was in a 4" pot and was only about 4 maybe 5 " tall and was only about as big and round as a pencil if that.
I can't believe how it's grown in such a short period. Of course it almost met an unhappy ending a few weeks ago. One of my cats jumped flatfooted off of the top of the building in the background which is about 8-10ft high and shaved the side of the plant on the way down. No damge other than a few broken leaves though.
Dr D.
catsmeow, Very nice healthy looking plants. Too bad about your cat hurting one side of the plant. Are they in pots or in the ground. I have never planted any in the ground, because i know they will have to come inside for the winter. I have 25 or so seedlings that i will also have to find space for in the greenhouse, plus I must start taking cuttings off the large brugs outside. MY greenhouse is only 10 x 14, and that isn't large enough for everything!!! Donna
Look at those dark leaves!
David, I can't believe it has grown that much either. I am glad that you are having success with your growing of brugs.
It looks very happy!
Looks like you are doing a good job Cat. Very healthy looking.
rutholive,
Of all the varieties of brugs that I have, only 3 are planted in pots and if I can find a spot to put them in the ground that is where they are going. Well maybe not ecuador pink. It's small enough to keep in the gh for the winter but maya and milk and honey are going in the ground real soon. And i'll just keep cuttings going over the winter.
Susie all of mine have leaves like that but I haven't had many blooms up until now. I don't know if that's just the norm this year or if it's because i'm overdoing it with all purpose MG instead of bloom booster. From reading a lot of the threads here though it seems that a lot of growers haven't had the bloom performance with their brugs that they've had in the past.
Brugnanny, everything that you've shared with me has performed exceptionally well. They've all grown into nice healthy plants with the exception of one or two. The only problem is no blooms or at least not many.
Carena,I think they look so happy because I took the advice of some of the other members and got myself some BT for those cats and it worked. No sign of worms for almost a week now.
DonnaB, Thanks. I only put every waking moment that i'm not at work into these things. It's about time they started paying me back with some flowers though. The few plants that have produced thus far don't seem to be throwing full flushes of flowers like they should. Maybe next season will be better. I've still got my fingers and everything else crossed though that i'm gonna get to see my HG bloom. Some of the buds have fallen but some are still hanging on.
