Hello everyone.
I really don't know what to say. I don't want to bore everyone to tears b/c I can get a bit long-winded. violabird is to blame for me "spilling my guts" so here goes. I am almost 39 (GASP!!!) and married almost 14(BIGGER GASP!!!) yrs. I am childless by choice but have canine and feline kids- 3 each. I am a GA. native- live approx. 50 mi. NE of Atlanta. I've been a Christian about 9 yrs.I'm hesitant to put info.about my faith b/c some folks are turned off but its who i am. please be yourself when chatting with me b/c i wont judge you. that job has already been filled. my other hobbies besides gardening are crosswords, READING, jigsaws and talking. ive only been serious about gardening the last couple yrs. since i moved in a new house.i was raised in the country on a farm by my grandparents.i am really interested in heirlooms like my granny had.my garden is small but im trying on a ltd. budget and a BAD BACK to get things going. i hope this wasnt too long and i look forward to making friends and gaining knowledge from this awesome website.GOD bless you and your garden!!!!

Not too long at all, thanks for telling us about yourself. Welcome to the garden. There are quite a few of us Christians here. We have a pretty active prayer forum here on Davesgarden so you might want to look in on that. Small gardens can produce quite a lot if you just keep planting new things whenever something else is done, kind of a Square Foot Gardening method if you are familiar with that. Are you into vegies or just flowers? Oh, and if I was 39 I would also gasp because I passed that milestone years ago.
