I really fell in love with this one as soon as I seen it open!!
My pretty Datura
what a cute shot of it peeking out!
Datura are as pretty as brugs. Just not as big.
It's adorable. How tall does the plant get?
datdog: This plant is just under 2 feet tall, It would have been bigger but this year the rain hampered the growth of alot of my Datura's. The flower measured 4 inches across.

Really cute bloom. Do you grow a lot of different datura?
Brugie, yes I grow all I can get my hands on!!!! LOL, I have a friend on here Tonny and Lene, I acquired alot of my seed from him and have been growing them since about 1999 or 2000, I traded him some things back then and he was generous, I planted all his seeds then and had a wonderful time with them all, when I moved in 2001, I had lost track of him, then found he and Lene this year, so we started swapping again. I just received a fresh batch from him this year of 18 different variety, I didn't start them all this year, but plan on trying them all in pots next year for the porch. We had soo much rain here in OH this year, that alot of the Datura were slightly behind schedule this year. I have the triple yellow "mauritica' that didn't get started this year but next for sure. Also I have getting ready the "evening fragrance", black currant swirl, double golden queen, all these have set buds, and I am looking daily to see when they are going to pop open for me. Plus many many more, I will take photo's when they open for me.

Is your D. discolor (in photo) fragrant at all? Mine aren't. Thanks.
