I think I'm going to cry. I don't even have a bud on mine this year :(

It's so pretty Poppysue.

Flo - I didn't have much for flowers on the passies last year either. This year I have lots of buds coming. Just a few have really started blooming well. As much as I hate waiting for all these new plants to bloom.... it makes the end of the season a lot more exciting. I still have a reason to go out in the garden and check everything every day. Seems like there is always something new out there to see.

Wow,that's really beautiful. I love it.

Very pretty Sue. I'm just beginning to see blooms here except for Belotti and it has been blooming since I brought it outside.

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

I had 5 blooms on them last year and this year not even a bud. I hope they do something next year

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

beautiful! I like the form of this one, like a shooting star! in my imaginary dream world, I have one of every passiflora and they are all blooming all the time. LOL

Root I think the Hirutsu is a type of P.foetida. Does it have the ferny bracts around the buds?

Is that last photo a different one? That one looks like x Belotii to me.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Yes it is foetida, the second is Belotii,if memory serves me,I got it in Iowa with Shirley, looks like it is loaded with buds.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Is that the one you got at the greenhouse? It was supposed to be P. Caerulea, but the foliage looks like P. Belloti. My P. Belotti is huge. One of my favorites.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Yes this is the one we got near your house.was it labeled wrong?

Poppysue I do love the blue on yours, will you have cuttings someday?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Must have been because I remember telling you I'd like a start one day because I lost mine. However, is it possible that I gave you a start of Belotti and you still have the other one growing someplace? That one is definitely Belotti.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

You got it root. I'm working on cuttings. Poppysue is about the worst cutting propigator you'll ever meet so be patient ;) I have been successful with one from this one... so cross your fingers.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Wow Thanks,fingers and toes crossed!

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

I just saw 5 buds on one of mine!!!! Can't wait until they open up :)

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Root, that is so pretty climbing up the pipe. Is it in the ground, or in a pot. You can't keep it outside over winter can you. i have 4 or 5 in pots, which means I have to make spade for them later in the GH. My red one only had a couple of blooms but the lavender one blooms quite often. It is dark outside and I can't remember their names.

I've never had any luck with seeds setting. i would like to try to grow some from seed. Donna

Covington, LA(Zone 8b)

My Dakote Ransom really put out lots of blooms this year. It is it's first year and I have enjoyed it. The vine has grown to about 15 ft. The bumblebees love the flowers. I have even seen hummers nectaring on them.

Mine is in a container with a tomato cage for support. It's out grown the cage already but I just keep twisting it around and it keeps growing.

Flo- what ones do you have growing? One that doesn't want ot bloom for me is 'Blue Boutique'. I've had it for two years and not one bloom yet!

Donna, I've tried a lot from seeds. They're not easy. Some do okay but a lot of times they just don't germinate. I had great germination from a grocery store passion fruit (passiflora edulis). If you can find one give it a try.
