Celaya, Mexico(Zone 10a)

Yep very pretty patterns on the leaves.
Sorry again don't know this one, but you should post this pic in the ID forum, someone must remember it with such spectacular foliage.

The closest I could get on the Hoya front is the following

problem is that the leaf patterns seem inversed.

Bethlehem, GA(Zone 7b)

I bought one of these a few years ago thinking it was a hoya. I sent a leaf to a hoya expert in Conyers, GA. She told me that it was an aeschynanthus - lipstick vine. Cool looking plant though.

Yes, that looks like a lipstick vine.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Don't worry....we have ALL been there! I have a great collection of Aeschynanthus! That particular one is my favorite...husband's too....it is called 'Black Baron' or something like that. The flowers are insignificant but the leaves are gorgeous!

Valley Village, CA

A good laugh

On Ebay someone is listing a Kalanchoe for $6.00 which is considered by succulent growers a weed. He said it was Hoya like. Well I grow this plant because I have a collection of Kalanchoe. I actuallly had to re-read what it said. I did write him a little note. He did call it Kalanchoe however.
Believe me it looks nothing like a Hoya, the leaves are a very dark maroon black green( very narrow leaves) it does vine, so I guess you can call it Hoya look alike LOL I almost choked. I wonder if it sold?

New people don't get caught on this one. Norma
