This room was created for my oldest daughter, Bethany. She's been to Space Camp two years now and loves all things celestial. So that it wouldn't look like a boys room, we added little "whatnots" throughout the room. The frames above her bed were painted the same way the top of the walls were painted. The stars on the quilt (which I hand appliqued) were also the same stars used on the bedskirt, the window treatment and the throw pillows. I even bought enough extra fabric to make pillow cases using one of the fabrics used for some of the stars.
