Pearly Ever Lasting - This is a little known plant that painted ladies will use for a host. In the early part of summer there are webs with little black caterpillars inside.

I think I'll pass, LOL. Might have to try to grow some for my sisters though. Do you think it would grow in the heat here in GA?

I think it would handle the heat just fine. Mine is kept dry most of the year... it hardly gets any extra water from me.
Painted ladies are not picky, they eat a lot of different plants. Here's a few: Tistle, Mugworth, Calendula, Yarrow, Hollyhook, Mallow, Lamb's-quarter, Cotton, Bean, Nettle, Nicotina.
I only get the American Painted Lady here and they really like Cudweed.
I'll try to grow it next year, I just hope it can handle all the rain.
