Feeling a bit *charmed* FINALLY. lol

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Well, my big white brug has a bunch of buds. A few days ago, I realized Gypsy Queen had Y'd and had buds. Today I noticed the two Y's (two seperate branches) had Y'd again! Then low and behold I was on the lurk today and Milk and Honey has Y'd and has buds. How excited am I??? I'll finally get some blooms, I HOPE! It is looking like French Vanilla just might split any day as well.
As I am still going to attempt to breed my big white one back to a pink, I've been told it will need a name. Kind of following Kyle's lead, I sort of like Celestial. I like Charmed too. Anyone have an opinion or suggestion? Either of these taken??
I'd post some pics here, but my dc seems to have taken a dive. Hopefully it is not permanent. sigh...

Way to go girl.....finally some great blooming brugs. Can't wait to see them pictured here, so get that DC working soon. I like either name. Not sure about whether they have been used already or not.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Way to go Chele.I am so happy your getting blooms.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

WOW. You will have aq feast of flowers soon! I just think CHARMED is so charming! LOL

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Good luck Chele, but you don't have to use two named brugs for breeding. You can number it if it isn't different enough to warrant a name.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

congratulations!!! It is so exciting waiting for that flower to form and open.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I'm excited for you, Chele! You'll have lots of flowers before you know it!

I missed this one also! I'm very glad you'll be getting lots of blooms before the four letter word comes (fall)! Get that camera up and working girl. You know we LOVE pictures.

I think my camera may be a lost cause. :( I have the young man in electronics at work looking for a new one for me. Anyone use Finepix? Or is it Coolpix? Argh! I think Nikon makes one and Fuji the other.

Darn the luck! I hope you can find one on the cheap(my favorite way)! My Target is always having some great sales. My camera is on it's way out as well. I'm just hoping it lasts till the end of the season.
OH- check out Amazon.com Friday sale. They usually have some great deals as well.

I have a Fuji Finepix, I think someone here has a Nikon Coolpix. Fuji is okay but the Nikon takes better pictures.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Sorry Kristi, isn't it a bummer! I cannot complain. Hubby got a great deal on mine through work so I think it only cost me $200 and it has lasted close to 5 years. I was hoping to give it to my eldest when I got a new one. Maybe hubby can fix it. I honestly think the memory part fried though. It ate the last bunch of pictures I had taken.
Susie, I will check more into the Nikon then. I think that is the one I heard so much good stuff about. He is looking into manual zoom, 5mp and memory for me. I can only take like 7 decent quality pics on mine before I have to download. I can take more but at worse quality. gee!

I just made my decision last week. After asking everyone "which camera do you use", I decided on the Nikon coolpix 2100. poppysue uses the 2500 model, but that one has been discontinued. It is small, has a "point and shoot" mode and has macro for real close-ups for $250. I like it a lot.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Chele, mine is a Nikon Coolpix 2500. If you're looking for cheap, it's a pretty good camera. It's only 2.0 megapixels. It's great for online pics but if you want to print out photos you may want to get something with more. I answered a lot of questions about it in this thread http://davesgarden.com/t/393948/

Thank you for the camera info. I am going to go check out your info in a few Sue. I need all the info I can get! I am thinking if I can afford it, I'd like to try to get the best quality I can. My electronics friend said for the figure I gave him, I can afford a 5mp. I also need to replace all the kitchen appliances so that figure may shrink! LOL I do get an extra 10% off at Target.
Hubby told me to call the big white brug 'white chocolate' since I love it so. LOL Yeah, I know, it's not even real chocolate. I love that too though!

Watch me dance! I was outside a bit ago and realized a cutting I just rooted a few weeks ago of Rosamond has Y'd and Y'd again. I HAVE BUDS!!!!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

You'll love Rosamond, Badseed. It's my favorite :)

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

I want Rosamond.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

All points bulletin. News alert. A blonde was spotted in the garden. Apparently when reading tags, she can not tell the difference between a Rosamond and a First Day. Update, there are Y's and buds on First Day and not Rosamond. We repeat, NOT Rosamond.
Wooo hooo, Can't wait to see my own First Day!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Chele, gotta watch those blondes in the garden, lol. First Day is a nice one, you will like it.
